Semi-transistor ignition #2 (My original blog was written on 9th Dec. 2007)

I installed the semi-transistor ignition system in the engine room. The ignition system was somehow updated to the level of the late 70 ’ s. I couldn ’ t know it effective or not exactly because my car couldn ’ t be driven yet. However , when I started the engine , the engine start was very immediate like a spark! … probably.  I guessed the engine became lively. When I was installing the semi-transistor ignition , my neighbor Mr. K , who drove the Alfa Romeo 75 Evo , came to visit me riding on the scooter. He said that his scooter was same model as the one that was used by DUCATI works team at their pit.  What an enthusiastic guy!

Amico Speciale! (The original blog was written on 2nd Dec. 2007)

Today Mr. and Mrs. S , the owner of the Giulietta Sprint Speciale I became friends at the touring event , came to visit me and my car.  We had a very relaxing time enjoying the conversation on Alfa Romeo , garage and pet …etc.  Please come to visit again any time.  I would also like to visit their house and garage.  Thanks!

Italian car touring in Hiroshima (The original blog was written on 11th Nov. 2007)

Today (11th Nov. 2007) I joined the touring event with Italian cars held in the mountain area in Hiroshima.   It began to rain on the way unfortunately , however , due to the effort of the organizer lots of Italian cars were gathered from Hiroshima and Shimane area. By the way , it was really nice to watch the Alfa Romeo running in the autumn leaves. It was a pity that I joined with Renault 5 because my “ onboro ALFA ” was not able to run yet of course.  I would like to join with my Alfa as soon as possible! But I enjoyed the exciting driving of Alfa Romeo and Lancia by my eyes , ears and smell. I was also surprised that there were lots of Alfista living very near to my house. It would be really nice to be able to keep in touch in future! Finally I really appreciate Mr. GTA and Mr. Duetto for giving the fabulous time to me.
