I refilled the gasoline and restarted the engine to check the restored fuel tank and the fuel system.
I added the fuel stabilizer, which was included in the fuel tank repair kit, in order to prevent the fuel deterioration.
The new fuel sender unit worked without problem, and the fuel gauge was revived. ☺︎
I should clean the glass of the fuel gauge…
The engine was restarted, however, it took a little time.
It seemed that the condition of the carburetors were not perfect. I guessed the idle adjust screw for the #2 cylinder was not fully working, or the contact point of the distributor was worn. I would check them.
I took a very short movie and posted as a trial (just for my practice).
Engine restart
And idling
It seemed that the routing of the fuel sender wiring as not good. I would reroute it later.
